The stress of an art block [ Art process included ]

Sometimes there are days where you can just whip out anything good, you're just low on creative juice and you stare at that canvas for 3 hours and that canvas is still blank. Every now and then I get annoyed and frustrated like every other artist. You feel unproductive, infuriated because your cant get your mind onto that image.

I decided to let my emotions just flow even if im mad or stressed, let that ego go of wanting to create a nice image and just paint that pure frustration. that haziness that you feel when things dont go right.

I actually like this piece in the end to be honest

stress1.jpg
After staring at the canvas for a while i didnt care about making something pretty i just did a silhouette of something

stress2.jpg
From there i painted the background

stress3.jpg

Paint in the base colors

stress4.jpg
Place more abstract rectangles

stress5.jpg
I pixelated the image a bit and placed more abstract rectangles

stress6.jpg
After that i messed around a bit more

stress7.jpg
Finally add in the lighting

Im not the best at describing through writing but i hope you all enjoyed this piece!
