New flower cultivated.

Sunflower has been cultivated for the first time in Brahmanbaria on the occasion of Mujib Year. 60 farmers in Sadar upazila are dreaming of becoming financially profitable and successful by cultivating sunflower. According to the District Agriculture Office, this year 80 farmers have experimentally cultivated Haisan-33 varieties of sunflower on 60 bighas of land in Brahmanbaria municipal area, Budhal, Majlispur and Machihata unions of Sadar upazila. The tree is already in bloom.
