Nubits reaches a new low of 45¢
Nubits has gotten to just below 45¢ USD. This is not even funny. This kind of thing has happened before a couple of years ago. The price drop led to panic, which lead to more of a price drop. Nubits is normally quite good at keeping to the value of 1 USD, but I don't want to buy in now because I may need to use this money short term.
Do you understand what happened that has caused this? I don't know the nubits stability mechanism very well.
Well there is a management team for that. It is not something managed by the Nu blockchain. It seems that bitUSD works. Understanding failures in pegs is important.
Yeah. bitUSD has serious flaws too, but at least there you can tell what's going on and it's more decentralized. With nubits you're totally at the mercy of the management team.
