Thank you for the story behind your painting, it is truth sometimes our memories are caught with little objects, subjects, taste or smell. It is an interesting thing human brain and memory. 90's seems to be long time ago but still the same like you I have very warm memories about that time too. Thank you for the links and tip about Zecchi, good to keep in mind, especially after hearing that you were quite satisfied with the service :)
I am still very satisfied with their service, they have a line of oil paints that they sell online and in the store which are fantastic at 1/3 the price of other brands, I asked why and Zecchi told me that the other factories drive fancy cars and have lots of overhead, where Zecchi's are simple, and hard core. Mostly they just care about art, that is why I love them.
