Hello Guys!

These days there is a lot of "Hype" for the movie Avengers and its characters and I could not stop illustrating these characters, because I am fascinated by the superheroes.

On this occasion, I want to add Tony Stark to the collection - Iron Man

After thinking about it for a long time I decided to make a small collection with these characters and share them with you, as well as step by step.

The Tools:

• Mechanical Pencil.
• Hb, 3B Leads.
• Charcoal Pencil.
• Brush.
• Diffuser.
• Moldable Eraser.
• A4 Opaline 300G.

The Process:

---

• I started by making a simple sketch of the character with HB graphite so as not to leave any marks.

• With the charcoal pencil, I made the hair, making strokes from the root until they dissipate. With the moldable eraser, I made some lights that I will improve later.

• From the hair to the face, with the pencil HB I made a light layer to tone his skin, with the 3B I made the shadows and with the moldable eraser the volume making some lights.

• Some darker shadows are done with charcoal like the mustache and beard, and so I slowly advanced to the armor.

• To draw the armor I used the charcoal pencil respecting some flashes of light that I made with the moldable eraser, I also use the pencil 3B to make a base tone layer.

• I highlighted the dark parts with charcoal giving depth to the elements where the light strikes, with the HB illustrating the lighter side of the chest, slowly taking the tone with the 3B.

• in this part, I finished illustrating the armor using the techniques mentioned above. From this point until the end I only made adjustments because there was something that did not convince me.

• I gave the volume to the hair, I gave more brightness to his eyes so he did not look like a porcelain doll, however, there is something in his eyes that do not convince me, however, I must leave it like that since to erase his eyes and remake at this point is impossible.

• I made a template around the drawing to make it a 3D effect but I did not like it very much because it looks like a sticker. I think it's because of the position also because of the size of the shadow I made, but one realizes the details is when he is already finishing the post and his head hurts.
