I've always been both passionate about art and literature, and I thought I'd incorporate both worlds into this ballpoint pen self-portrait. I made use of the repetition of phrases to emphasize the obsessive and compulsive nature of OCD. "Wash your hands", "You're not crazy" and "Remember to take your medication" are some of the notes I've included in this portrait.
