ART EXPLOSION WEEK 63: Theme DEATH - "Magical"
Consider this my entry for the weekly artexplosion by @juliakponsford, who offers the opportunity to win prizes based on art, on this occasion the theme selected was "death".
For this illustration I was inspired by magical realism, an artistic tendency characterized by considering magical elements as elements of everyday life and perceiving them as something normal, in this illustration you can see how a fairy is burned by means of a magnifying glass that is being held by a man, who seeks to burn the fairy as if it were an ant, achieving his goal.
For this illustration I used the following materials:
- Sketchbook.
- Pencil.
- Black pen.
- Black marker.
- Many colored pencils.
I consider that this illustration has a mixed technique, since the drawing was made or comic way and painted as if it was something more "realistic"

Beautiful interpretation of the contest topic. It is difficult to choose what to create, but you combined the features very well, zombie, skeleton and probably the wings suggesting heaven Like your interpretation and beautiful drawing :)
