I arranged to meet a friend in the Black Cube of Chuao. For those who do not know Caracas; this is a very well known office center for the city dwellers. It is next to the most traditional shopping center of the city, the CCCT which includes a prestigious hotel. It is also surrounded by the La Carlota airport and the UNEFA university. It's a commercial area with a high target, as the CCCT is home to luxury shops, including exclusive jewelry stores. Besides, important companies such as IBM have their offices on the block.

The building is many years old, more than 30, but it still looks modern. Its majestic design with wide corridors and entrances makes it perfect for photos with impressive light entrances.

Hola steemians, vengo muy entusiasmado con estas fotos que no tenía ni remotamente planificadas tomar, pero como todo es perfecto las situaciones se presentan para que disfrutemos de esos instantes con lo que nos apasiona, en este caso la fotografía y es que en cualquier lugar puedes encontrar encuadres increíbles.

Quedé en encontrarme con una amiga en el Cubo Negro de Chuao. Para los que no conocen Caracas; este es un centro de oficinas sumamente conocido por los citadinos. Queda al lado del centro comercial con mayor tradición de la ciudad, el CCCT que incluye un prestigioso hotel. También lo rodea el aeropuerto de La Carlota y la universidad UNEFA. Es una zona comercial con un target alto ya que en el CCCT se encuentran comercios lujosos, incluyendo joyerías exclusivas. Además de las importantes empresas como IBM que tienen sus oficinas en la manzana.

El edificio tiene muchos años, más de 30 pero sigue aparentando modernidad. Su majestuoso diseño con amplios pasillos y entradas lo hace perfecto para las fotos con unas entradas de luz impresionantes.

La oportunidad se presentó gracias a la impuntualidad de mi amiga que me dejó espacio de tiempo para pasear por el interior del Cubo Negro. Contemplando las esculturas que pretenden caerte encima de Jesús Soto me di cuenta que me pedían ser fotografiadas, así que comencé a disparar sin contemplación.

La hora era perfecta. El sol se colaba por los pasillos y los brillos y efectos en la escultura eran un deleite. Gente que pasaba acostumbrada a todo ese espectáculo se me quedaba viendo como al raro de la película. Ahí me di cuenta de todo lo que desperdiciamos sin admirarlo por estar "acostumbrados" a que esté ahí.

People who were used to all that show were watching me like the freak in the movie. That's when I realized how much we were wasting without admiring it because we were "used" to it being there.
