Hello to all dear Steemit friends.
Today in Italy it is a day of celebration, we celebrate Easter Sunday, but I too have something to celebrate; my first birthday on Steemit.

Exactly a year has passed since my first post.

A very positive year for a whole series of reasons.

From April 21st 2018 I was going to click on the post button, I thought, "in the meantime I try, then everything else that comes is always useful".

I remember that I posted a photo of my watercolor, described with few words to comment and many expectations.
I was very disappointed with the result, a few votes and an upvoto of encouragement from a friend, that same friend who told me about Steemit and advised me to join this blockchain.
Now he has taken new paths with cryptocurrencies, but he left me a good set of instructions regarding how to post and share my articles.
I continued to post, every single day.
The results did not come for two months.

No way!
I wanted to escape from Steemit.

Then, suddenly @curie became aware of my work, and the first great satisfactions began!
I remember the big surprise when I saw that the post had been voted by the curators and I couldn't believe my eyes.

But the biggest and most constructive contribution was given to me by the team of the Italian SPI community, together with Discovery-it, who have very much filed my way of preparing the posts, suggesting how to take the citations, texts, images and sources always free from any copyright.
A great help to always try to share good quality items.

To all this I can add that I have been facilitated by my multiple skills in the artistic field, in the history of art and in history, seasoned with a hint of literature that I love very much and my passion for the sea and nature.

I am very happy to have achieved a good reputation, and I am proud of the fact that I have many friends who follow me and read my posts, all over the world, from Australia, to the United States, Venezuela, Portugal and above all in Italy.

With some of them I feel by telephone and I hope that sooner or later we can meet, with a good glass of red wine, talking until late at night, maybe even cuddling a kitten on the legs.

I also have to thank the Steemit community for making me refine the writing technique, and for supporting me, I love writing, but I had never written for someone.
Writing for Steemit users is a beautiful test of courage.
I am happy with the results obtained, in addition to my paintings, you have also appreciated my stories and I will always work harder not to disappoint you.

I had many awards on Steemit, from Curie and @spi-postit that made me very happy, as well as being an artist in the foreground for two weeks on another extraordinary and important art platform, ntopaz.
To top it all off, I made two power-ups to have more voting power for the posts I like, and I assure you that I read many of them every day and I like to vote for them.

Now I leave you with a huge hug like Steemit, and meanwhile we celebrated yesterday with a beautiful seafood Paella.

Ciao a tutti cari amici di Steemit.
Oggi in Italia è una giornata di festa, si celebra la domenica di Pasqua, ma anch'io ho qualcosa da festeggiare; il mio primo compleanno su Steemit.

E' passato un anno esatto dal mio primo post.

Un anno molto positivo per tutta una serie di motivi.
Dal 21 aprile del 2018 accingendomi a cliccare sul pulsante post, ho pensato," intanto provo, poi tutto il resto che viene è sempre utile".
Ricordo che postai la foto di un mio acquarello, descritto con poche parole a commento e tante aspettative.
Restai molto deluso dal risultato, qualche voto e un upvoto di incoraggiamento di un amico, quello stesso amico che mi parlò di Steemit e che mi consigliò di entrare su questa blockchain.
Ora lui ha preso nuove strade con le cryptovalute, ma mi ha lasciato un buon bagaglio di istruzioni per quanto riguarda il modo di postare e condividere i miei articoli.
Continuai a postare, tutti i santi giorni.
I risultati non arrivavano, per due mesi.

Niente da fare!
Volevo fuggire da Steemit.

Poi, improvvisamente @curie si accorse dei miei lavori, e cominciarono le prime grandi soddisfazioni!
Ricordo la grande sorpresa quando vidi che il post era stato votato dai curatori e non credevo ai miei occhi.

Ma il contributo più grande e costruttivo me lo hanno dato il team della comunità italiana SPI, insieme a Discovery-it che hanno limato molto il mio modo di preparare i post, suggerendomi come prendere le citazioni, testi, immagini e fonti sempre libere da ogni copyright.
Un grande aiuto per cercare sempre di condividere articoli di buona qualità.

A tutto questo posso aggiungere che sono stato agevolato dalle mie molteplici competenze in campo artistico, nella storia dell'arte e nella storia, condite con un pizzico di letteratura che amo molto e la mia passione per il mare e la natura.

Sono molto felice di essere arrivato ad una buona reputazione, e mi rende orgoglioso il fatto che ho molti amici che mi seguono e leggono i miei post, in ogni parte del mondo, dall'Australia, agli Stati Uniti, Venezuela, Portogallo e soprattutto in Italia.

Con alcuni di essi mi sento per telefono e spero che prima o poi possiamo incontrarci, con un buon bicchiere di vino rosso, parlando fino a notte fonda, magari coccolando anche un micetto sulle gambe.

Devo anche ringraziare la comunità di Steemit per avermi fatto affinare la tecnica di scrittura, e di avermi sostenuto, amo molto scrivere, ma non avevo mai scritto per qualcuno.
Scrivere per gli utenti di Steemit è una bellissima prova di coraggio.
Dei risultati ottenuti sono contento, oltre ai miei dipinti, avete apprezzato anche le mie storie e mi impegnerò sempre di più per non deludervi.

Ho avuto su Steemit molti riconoscimenti, da curie e da @spi-postit che mi hanno reso felicissimo, come anche essere artista in primo piano per due settimane su un'altra piattaforma di arte straordinaria ed importante, @ntopaz.
A coronare tutto questo ho fatto due power-up per avere più potere di voto per i post che mi piacciono, e vi assicuro che ne leggo molti ogni giorno e mi piace votarli.

Adesso vi lascio con un abbraccio immenso come Steemit, e intanto ieri abbiamo festeggiato con una bella Paella ai frutti di mare.
