This one happen to me that time when I dey secondary school. I go boarding school. As I dey the boarding school so, e get one girl wey be say me and the girl dey like five and six. The girl name na Precious. Ah! Me and Precious close well well that time oh. Anywhere you see me, you go see Precious. Anywhere you see Precious, you go see me. We dey chop together, wash together, read together, pray together, we dey go everywhere together. Our gist no dey gree end naa. We fit gist from morning till night. This babe sabi everything about me that time. I been think say I sabi everything about her, I no know say Precious na wolf wey thief sheep cloth carry am put for body.
I dey very sure say all of us sabi say dem dey thief well well for boarding school. E no get wetin dem no dey thief. Money oh, school uniform oh, even pant and bra. Everyday, dem must thief one person something for hostel. We don try to catch this thief, but no way.

As the thing finish, na so so hunger begin dey blow me everyday. According to Precious that time, dem don also thief all her provisions finish. Oh boy, hunger deal with me that period.
Na so I dey oh until one day for one Biology class, our Biology teacher ask one question wey e be like say no body sabi. Na so the man come talk say e go dash anybody wey get the answer N2,000. Ah! A whole N2,000!!!!!! Òmò, na so I begin crack my brain. I crack my brain until the answer come out. As I answer the question, the man shout "CORRECT! " come carry N2,000 give me. My body sweet me that day no be small. E remain small I for start to dance for class that day. I happy that day no be small.

As night come reach that day, I come dey fear. I no know where I go keep the money wey the thief dem no go see am. Na so me and Precious begin find where we go keep the money oh. Precious come discover one small hole for my wardrobe, we come agree say no there we go keep am. We make sure say na only two of us know say the money dey there.
My people, as I wake up for morning the money no dey there. Chaaaii!!! E just be like say make dem kuku kill me. I cry taya. Precious come dey console me, dey do like say she sef wan cry. Ah! The thing pain me no be small.

Sha sha, that one pass. Life continue to go on. The thief continue to thief, people continue to cry. But, as oyibo people talk, "everyday for the thief, one day for the owner". Na so one night, everybody dey sleep. Na so one girl begin shout "thief! thief! thief! ". Everybody jump up to go catch thief. Na so me too I jump up. Ah! I want see the person we don dey make people cry for this hostel. Oh boy, as I reach the place, I see Precious for ground, people dey throw slap for her face from all corners.
I been no dey understand wetin dey happen. Na after time don go small na em my head begin grab wetin dey happen. Precious na the thief!!!!!! Na Precious don dey torment everybody for the hostel. The thing just be like dream to me. The same Precious wey be say we dey gist from morning till night, na the same Precious go wake up for night begin thief people property. I begin pinch myself make I dey sure say no be dream I dey.

As dem beat her finish, dem come carry her go our hostel mistress house. Na there she begin confess everything wey she don thief. Una believe say na she thief that my money that time, in addition to so many other things wey she thief from me. As I hear that one ehn, I start to cry. I dey cry because I just discover say Precious don dey use my head since. Chaaaii!! The thing pain me die. Person wey be my personal person, my padi of life, my number one friend, don dey thief from me and from other people, and also don dey pretend for so long. The whole matter been dey hard to believe.

Òmò after that experience, I wise up. Now ehn, I dey shine my eye well well. I no dey quick dey very close to people like that. Even as we dey close so, I dey use common sense take follow the friendship. After all, oyibo people talk am say "once beaten, twice shy".
