2. Charles Bradley did not release his first record until 2011 (at age 63) where he was discovered by Daptone records doing his routine impersonating James Brown at night clubs in Brooklyn.
3. Though Charles Bradley died shortly after in 2017 of stomach cancer, he was grateful for his short and late in life period in the spotlight and has been quoted as saying "I love all of you out there who made my dreams come true."
