The Billionaire "THE CONTINUUM"

A while back my partner told me about something that happened to him that was so unbelievable and had me literally in stitches. After telling me this story I went to bed and woke up around 2 am from a dead sleep with the entire story for a new book in my head. That night The Billionaire "THE CONTINUUM" a novel was born.

Jerry is a developer/engineer and had quite a lot of success during the real estate boom between late 1980ies and 2007. When the market crashed he had to reinvent and ended up in a very bizarre situation with a gentleman who staged himself as a Jewish Billionaire businessman named Frank.

Everyone in L.A. from famous actors to top attorneys rolled out the red carpet for this guy and Jerry got to tour Oprah’s studio, saw Michael Jackson’s private art collection, was wined and dined by some of the most prominent people in Hollywood and even had a chauffeur and private jet to fly around wherever Frank needed to go.

One day Frank took Jerry to a secret meeting somewhere in L.A. where he was presented with some documents similar to a trust deed to sign over his entire assets with the promise that in his next life, all this wealth would be returned to him.

Upon hearing this, I was literally rolling on the ground laughing.
Come on!!! I said!
Who would believe such a thing?

Apparently, a lot of people do and actually buy into this entire structure including some of the best-known movie stars in the world. The narrator is Melinda Wade who rocks and is a character actor from Hollywood and perhaps one day this will turn into a movie.

What happened to Frank? He turned out to be one of the biggest fraud ever seen in Hollywood and it just comes to show you how greedy and gullible people can be when there is a lot of money involved. Unfortunately, Frank is now in prison and might get out in 2024.
