I was going to wait after lunch, but it's still the holidays. 

Ego-stroking is a woman's job; don't care if I sound chauvinist. Don't mean to quote Seth Rogen, but they're bl*w j*bs for a reason. Men are not supposed to be good at them, and they are jobs. 

Thanks to Chris at Subway in John's Creek, took in some 2017 epiphany concerning male ego and strokes, not aneurysms. Men need to talk with each other, though we can be islands. If we don't, we get sniped. 

I've got a 41-year old in a nearby hospital right now, who received a 60-day notice from my parent company and had a stroke--a real stroke--not necessarily for the above reasons, and he won't even receive visitors. In his short life, he lost both parents at age 17, was married for 18 years (divorced) and has two daughters, the oldest 26. And he's a grandfather. Just wanted to describe his biography to Steem readers out of respect.
