Trolltunga, part 2: On the edge

Jumping right where we left (not down the cliff, heh), I'm starting with couple pictures right off the Troll Tongue. I didn't have any strap on the camera, so you can imagine that my grip was very firm when I was laying on the ledge and hovering the camera with my right hand over the edge several hundred meters of air below it. I didn't take many photos (only three) from this position, because dropping the camera was not a thing I really wanted to do.

I have color versions of these, too, but I really like the black and white with these two particular shots.

One more from the ledge on both feet (though very low like a crouching tiger).

But like with the summits of great mountains, experiencing the highlight is only half of the journey and so after taking the views in, we eventually had to start heading back.

There was not enough time to hike back to our starting point, but we had a place in mind to set a camp...

It was a great camping spot I gotta say. There was even a natural shower.

The force of running water surprises though and when it's also ice cold, it's one hell of an intense shower. I got a cut on my pinky toe by hitting it on to the rock, but I didn't even notice it until I got out of the water. The toe survived without any further ramifications somehow even though I had to put it back into a sock when hiking the last bit back.
