Unfortunately in the US, wealth makes up for any lack of a proper health care. Because as the governor of Maine has proven, even if the people vote for expansion of healthcare, the elites will vote it down. They have donors and other high paying people they have to report to, that are not their constiuents. Which makes what their constituents wants absolutely meaningles. But that's only 1 state. There are more. Plus this year marks the first time since the ACA has been put into law that there are less people in the US without health insurance. People would rather vote for their social interests, rather than the interests that benefit them the most. It's a sad state of affairs.
