RE: Knapweed and a bumblebee on Andøya
This plant, apparently, know everywhere. In our area there are a lot of representatives of this species of plants. They lure a lot of insects to themselves, this is a great subject for photographing. You, my Dear friend @Siggjo, were perfectly able to show the beauty of this plant. I saw that the cornflowers are different, externally, from each other, but, I did not know that these are their varieties. There is a difference in the size of the buds and in the form of petals. In some species, the petals are like forks, in other species, the petals are like hairs. Your interesting story clarified, for me, this situation. Good night to you my friend!
Many thanks for a nice supplementary text to the pictures of the knapweed @Barski
I appreciate your educational comments, my dear friend!
