Fenrir, Skoll, and Hati: Norse Mythology
Source
The three wolves of Norse mythology. Fenrir, the son of Loki, and Skoll and Hati. Although Skoll and Hati are only mentioned breifly their concept is interesting. They chase the sun and moon through the sky wanting to devour them.
Skoll is the name of the wolf
Who follows the shining priest
Into the desolate forest,
And the other is Hati,
Hróðvitnir’s son,
Who chases the bright bride of the sky.
The two are to catch their prey during Ragnarok. For Fenrir, the gods bound him with a magical chain made of the sound of a cat’s footsteps, the beard of a woman, the breath of fish, and other occult elements. When the chain was placed upon him, Fenrir bit off the hand of the god Tyr. In Ragnarok, Fenrir will break free and swallow the Allfather, Odin. In some interpretations, it is Fenrir who will also swallow the sun and in others, he is the father of Skoll and Hati.

Pretty sure there was some sort of symbolism like that in Thor: Ragnarok
Interesting thanks
