Nokia will release a bracelet predicting the appearance of cancer

Nokia CEO Rajiv Suri said about the unique technology that the company is working on. Development will help predict the onset of cancer a few months before their onset.

As CNBC clarifies, Rajiv Suri spoke about the new invention at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland. Diagnose the cancer can be using a miniature scanner-bracelet, using biomarkers.

"For the cancer patient, every month and every day is important," Suri added.

Nokia is making a big bet on medical technology: this direction is being taken up by a new research group.

According to Suri, in the near future, thanks to the Internet and the appearance of 5G-communication, remote surgery will become possible. In this case, there will not actually be any delays in the data that come to the doctor. So, for example, a doctor in Chicago will be able to perform surgery for a patient in Taiwan using robotic surgery.

Another product developed at Nokia is a bracelet that can scan certain information about the state of the body: for example, the level of cholesterol, lactic acid, glucose. Wearing such a device will "fill the void" between the doctor's appointments and allow the health worker to have constant access to the patient's condition.

Also, Nokia is working with the China Mobile Research Institute to create an ambulance 5G, which can save people in emergency situations. New technologies will allow you to get all the data you need for doctors and put an accurate diagnosis in the machine - before the patient's arrival in the hospital.
