Once i was this famous comic book character ...

Ok... not that famous i admit, but i did have a small cameo in a Suske & Wiske comic, which probably doesn't mean anything to you but most Dutch speaking people know what i'm talking about...

As mentioned in a previous post, my aunt worked at Studio Vandersteen, and she managed to get me and my dad to appear in one of the comic books... 😅

It was "De Gouden Ganzenveer"...

I was this little girl in the purple dress that was nearly drowning and i was saved by Lambik. Later on my dad also appears ...

Pretty cool, no? I'm still proud of it 😁😁

This is me when i was little with my aunt in the Antwerp Zoo, who unfortunately died a few years back... the man in the picture is Paul Geerts, who later on succeeded Willy Vandersteen to draw Suske & Wiske.

But my carreer didn't stop there... apparently i charmed another of the Vandersteen comic book creators, Jeff Broeckx... He created this series "Waterland", with a girl in the leading role. The series was never really that popular, but he based the character on me! 😄

Here i added some pictures of the period it was designed, that's how i looked then 😅

So i guess that were my 5 minutes of fame, but i sure will be telling this story untill i grow old 🤗
