Pre-e3 Nintendo hype: 3 new game trailers
Nintendo will be delivering their e3 Spotlight event today to announce what this year has in store for the Nintendo Switch console.
The console is notorious for being both a portable and home console in one, able to run high-end games like Breath of the Wild and Skyrim on the go, and this year the spotlight will be on Super Mario Odyssey.
You can tune in at 9am PT (5pm GMT) at e3.nintendo.com or follow me for updates: steemit.com/@fishbrain.
However, the festivities have already begun, with third parties announcing their games for Switch - let's take a look at some of the coolest trailers so far.
Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Release date: Fall 2017
Announced way back during the launch of the Switch, this week we were treated to a new trailer showing off the Amiibo functionality and a cameo of a certain hero.
Starlink : Battle for Atlas
This game takes the toys-to-life genre to a whole new level, with a customizable battle ship toy that affects your in-game ship.
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle
I'm not sure how to feel about this. A turn-based strategy game that nobody asked for, but I'm sure will be popular with a certain demographic. It's visual style is actually really nice, I just have an irrational hate for Rabbids and characters like them (I'm looking at you, Minions).
More to come!!
Whilst there are many more games announced, these are the ones that got brand new Switch trailers so far. There is more to be announced during the main Nintendo presentation later today and I will be reporting it here on Steemit, so follow to stay up to date!
