GROW ABOVE THE LIMIT CALLED "AVERAGE"

What is Average?

Average is a limitation to maximum and optimum capacity. Many have been bewitched to stay in the camp of mediocrity because they were told that average is good and a little above it is better. Gone are the days where First Degree were an achievement. Today, many are jobless with their Master's Degree. How shameful! These victims are those who settled for the average and/or a little above it.

If you ask me, I'll tell you that in my country- Nigeria, most universities are ready to offer admission into postgraduate programme (Master, Ph. D.) if the candidate could score as much as 60% (3.0 CGPA in a 5-point rating; 2.5 CGPA in a 4-point rating). These scores as you can see revolves around the "average". This is why we have many intakes into the postgraduate programmes with"average brains".

Reason with me here! If the benchmark was set at 80%, then every student will be on their heels to surpass the average marks and head for the 80th percentile.

The average mentality has killed many brains and set some to a state of redundancy.

Even God in the scriptures warned that a believer who is lukewarm (not hot/not cold) will be vomited (Revelations 3: 14-16). He (God) further enjoined us to maximize opportunities (Ephesians 5: 16) and be at peak performance. Sadly, many in the christian folk have equated the "average mentality" to "contentment".

If we expect systems built by humans (mobile phones, computers, other electronic and non-electronic gadgets to perform at precision level, why do the people who use them settle for an average level. Our brains have the capacity for precision and sadly many die without even utilizing as much as 10% pf it.
