WIN $100 FOR THE BEST IGBO TRANSLATION

Every now and then I like to put out challenges to encourage people to learn and speak the Igbo langauge.

This morning I woke up with “The Greatest Love of All” by Whitney Houston in my head, and unconsciously started translating it to Igbo. Although, my Igbo is terrible I thought it might be a fun challenge to see who can do the best job. I know there are some good Igbo speakers out there.

I learn languages and new words best through music. So, hearing everybody’s covers might help me to learn some new phrases.

The best translation of the following songs will win:

One prize will be awarded per song, per person.

How to submit: Use the hashtag #igboCoverChallenge and tag @therealnwudo (on Instagram) and @igboSwag (on Twitter) with your cover or a link to your cover

You do not need to have the instrumental music, you can sing acapella if you like. The most important thing is the translation, but it will be to your advantage to have a good presentation.

You can submit for one song or both, but you can only receive ONE prize per person.
