RE: How We Enjoy Electricity In My Country; Celebrating 4 Hours Of Uninterupted Power Supply
Very intereasting. How do you connect to the internet? Are there a lot of internet options in Nigeria? Much love, and LIGHT @sweetpea
@sweetpea, We buy data plans from a few network providers, in ther to connect to the internet. Thanks for the light wishes
The power situation is infuriating but at this point, generation after generation have grown used to it. We use generators and we have rechargeable versions of damn near everything (fans, flashlights -- man, if someone invented a rechargeable TV, that person would become a billionaire)
As for internet, most browsing is done by mobile. Even when we browse on a laptop or desktop, 99 times out of a hundred, it's via a USB dongle with a SIM card inside soooo ... still mobile. That's exactly what I'm using as I type this :)
LG has a tv that uses battery
Wow. I knew someone would invent that sooner or later lol
I admire your perseverence by continuing to use Steemit despite the fact that the privelages we have don't come easy to you! Im from South Africa and while we have electricty and fibre connections...you never know when Eskom will decide to switch them off! Much love, @sweetpea - looking out for more posts about your country!
