How the Mighty Giant Shrunk

There are times when what bothers us aren't the challenges that are in front of us, we already know that if we put our hearts to it, we would win the battle ahead. The challenge is what comes after, we know that winning now means battling demons and terrors that we feel we are not ready for, terrors we believe we cannot win... So, for the fear of total annihilation, we surrender to the enemy that lacks the ability to destroy us, we surrender to the lesser evil. It is this fear that taunt my countrymen, for the fear of loosing what little we have, we do not fight for the many we deserve. We are buried in silence while those we gave power to feed on us, we sell our rights, so we may eat today, we would rather do this than stand for ourselves and defeat the enemy before us. We are afraid, that if we push them out, those that are to come would destroy us, so even before the battle is started, the war is over, for we are already defeated.. This is where we are today, this is how the giant shrunk.
