The feeling of entitlement

Good morning ladies and gentlemen. 🔉🔉

Do you know, that your uncle in Canada is not obligated to send you money?

Do you know, that your buddy in Malaysia is under no obligation to free you some money?

Do you know, that your rich uncle who owns 20 Gas Stations is not under any obligation whatsoever to pay your school fees?

Do you also know, that because a guy chats with you inside keke/bus/taxi and/or even gets your phone number is not automatically expected to pay your fare?

Do you know that when you go on a date with someone, it does not mean he has to give you tp back?

Do you know, That your aunt/uncle or any family member that has an occasion does not have to give you the "uniform" for free?

That anyone promised you money does not make you entitled to their money.?

That your friend is a tailor, baker, cobbler, or has any business does not mean you shouldn't pay for goods and services rendered!?

We have got to stop that feeling of ENTITLEMENT! The only thing you are entitled to is your own money. The one you worked for. You are not even entitled to your parents money.

This syndrome, which has slowly permeated through us Africans, is appalling and it's irking me.

Carry Your Own money when going on a date. Carry Your Own Tp. Work for Your Own money. Make Your Own contacts and sustain them. Don't be a bother to someone. Don't stress someone else. Be productive for yourself, by yourself, with yourself.
