TALK ABOUT DETERMINATION
Often times we are faced with difficult and terrible situations in life, and we often stumble upon crossroads that derail our objectives and ambitions in life.
Man, being a rational and intelligent entity often has two major options under such circumstances, which often leads to depressions and suicides, on extreme occasions.
As superior living entities, it is either we give up and let our challenges win and get the better of us, or we fight hard to overcome such obstacles and challenges, through perseverance, thoughtful and logical reasoning.
Most times, people cower in subjection and succumb to the travails and challenges they face. However, on quite remarkable occasions, some people undauntedly fight hard, push and persevere to overcome life’s obstacles in the face of bravery and determination.
Such is the case of a Twitter user by the name @YBEEEZ
The 26th of September, 2017 saw a rather trending post by a young man @YBEEEZ, and it bordered on determination and resilience of a grand perspective.
The young man in question bagged a 1st class degree in Economics from the same city where he was jailed 4 years earlier.
This proves that there is always a reward for people who never give up in the face of challenges and battles which life might throw at them.
Details of the crime he was jailed for were not revealed but @YBEEEZ shared his experience, to inspire people on the importance of never giving up, and on the essence of resilience and determination in the face of life’s numerous hurdles.
In just 26 words, the young man did an amazing job of letting people know that:
• Everyone deserves a second chance.
• You might fall but you should learn to get up fast.
• Regardless of the situation we might face in life, there are often solutions to every issue.
• Quitting is the hallmark of losers.
• People who intend to succeed never quit.
• Life would always throw shots and challenges at us.
• You will almost certainly get second chances, never waste them.
• Persevere at all times to achieve your goal and aim in life.
I most certainly learnt a lot from this young man’s experience written and summarized in the most inspiring 26 words I’ve encountered in 2017, and I felt like sharing it with this wonderful steemit community.
Most motivational books, take longer words and hundreds of pages, to inspire and motivate us, but quoting @YBEEEZ…
“Graduated with a 1st class in economics in the same city they sentenced me in 4yrs prior. Give yourself a second chance even if they don’t.”
So i say to everyone:
Don’t ever give up on life….One life is all we’ve got on this planet.
Make the best of life.
If you face challenges, don’t succumb.....try to overcome them.
