MODULE 5 - THE RULES OF WRITING.
All images downloaded from pixabay and customized by me using Canva.
1. Avoid clustering of paragraphs.
Learn to have mercy on your readers eyes by separating your ideas into paragraphs. I should enjoy your work not book an appointment with an opthalmologist right?
2. 2. Do not use too many compound sentences.
All those commas you keep adding to keep elongating your sentences is a big turn off. Learn to keep your sentences short and simple except in cases where you need to use compound sentences.
3. Punctuate appropriately.
This shouldn't even be a rule because you should know that the life of your writing is in your punctuation. Right?
4. 4. Leave trails as you go.
Ok, I know that you sometimes want to play with suspense, but do not over stretch it. Don't leave us reading a thousand words before we get to the crux of your matter. Keep it simple!
5. Write to express not impress.
You should write like you would talk normally. Let people feel the real Original you. No need to try to impress your reader with big grammers and boisterous stories that won't add any value to their lives
6. Avoid shortening words.
All those "aw r u" instead of "how are you" stresses my brain. I don't know about yours but it does stress my brain and I don't like stress so if I find that sort of article, I dance over it.
