#stretnextturn: Dambalaya
My name is Dambalaya from Zamfara
I found my way to Abuja with the hope of finding greener pastures.
I and my kinsman live on a Construction yard in Utako district of Nigeria's Capital city, Abuja.
We make a living gatecrashing and performing at events. Showing up uninvited at weddings, parties and any other unrestricted ceremonies, with hopes of securing a meal or two.
We play tribute to about any conspicuously dressed adult. This in most times gets the subject bursting in laughter and lifting the moods of friends and people around.
We get turned down and ignored a lot of times, but the beautiful thing is we never stop trying, we can only hope it gets better.
