Political Thugs Dare The Law

How did we get here?? How did it ever get to the point that laws will be severally broken in the face of security agents and they just stand as spectators watching a football match unless some political statements are made.

Have the political class taken the rest of the masses as fools?

If few thugs can follow a serving senator into the legislative chambers snatch the mace, successfully take it out all in broad day light in the full glare of the police and other security agents, then who are we not to defend ourselves from armed bandits. It is quite obvious that these thugs and criminals are sponsored by politicians and covered by security agents.

In a country where weekly we witness insurgency, herdsmen attacks, robbery and political thuggery at its peak what options are left for the masses.

This is just a prelude to the elections. This inference is based in the fact that all Nigerian politicians have thugs loyal to them and at this rate the tendency for political violence is high.

Until the masses stand their grounds that we would no longer be deceived by these politicians we would only fall prey to their whims.
