PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE

**

Patience is a commonly used word, many people use it but they don't understand it meaning. Patience, gotten from the word patient which means to be content to wait if/when necessary, not bothered with having to wait and not losing one's temper while waiting, this last statement "not losing ones temper while waiting" is the one thing about patience people omit. The ability to stay calm in any situation or accepting a delay without complaining, it is not only when you get angry that you lose your temper, you also lose your temper when you complain,a temper means to be of a certain mood,you also lose your temper when you lose your patience, patience is like a guide keeping you from doing things against your will, endurance, perseverance and calmness are also attributes of patience.
Patience is a virtue like they say, virtue is a good moral quality in a person, you'll need patience in your every area of life, in your place of work,to avoid annoyance,in relationships, in a gathering, e.t. c you'll definitely meet people who will step on your toes,just so you know patient people are considered matured, though people take them for granted but deep down in the hearts of those people they hold them in high esteem,most people always want to lose their temper or react to any situation so people won't think they are weak, not so, a patient person is someone who can hold his own no matter what happens, he is a person who won't flare up at the slightest irritation, when your partner or spouse does something that angers your patience at that moment is another thing that will keep the relationship from crumbling, you can talk it out later. When your employee does something that angers, just keep calm and let patience take over at that moment, patience also goes a long way in achieving your goals,don't rush things just take it one step at a time, when you face disappointments and disgrace let patience take over your heart knowing fully well that ''the patient dog will eat the fastest bone''. Sometimes haste makes things waste and patience does it, let patience be one of the things that keep you going, when your children offend you, don't be in a haste to punish them harshly, of course you won't spare the rod so the child won't spoil but your punishment will be effective if you correct in love, it will even make your child be more closer to you, people don't like impatient people and our world today will be a better place if we all adopt the virtue PATIENCE, there won't be arguments on queues, no fighting among co-workers and no discord among friends, conclusively let patience be our watchword so we can have a peaceful world.
