Hurray! Nigeria is 58

Today marks 58 years since Nigeria gained her independence. I wouldn't want to go in details of how it all began and how we got here, although I'm not proud of our achievements thus far and where we are, but still I'm gonna be positive and spread some love on this great day.

How I spent my Day

Giving is the master key to success, in all applications of human life for it is in giving that we receive. To get the full value of joy you must have someone to divide it with. The wise man does not lay up his own treasures.

So I arranged with some of my friends and we went to the market to buy some food items, which include bags of rice, indomie noodles, spaghetti, cooking oil and all that. Then we head out to an orphanage around the neighborhood where we were warmly welcome by the man in charged and few of the kids around as the rest were in the home church attending a programme organised by some men of God, praying for our great nation Nigeria

We had fun, played with the kids and were prayed for powerfully by the kids present, and I know October would be the best month yet.

He who has never denied himself for the sake of giving, has but glanced at the joys of charity.

Next we set out for an internally displaced persons (IDP) camp at Durumi, Abuja, Nigeria. It saddens me that a Nation who boast of 58 years of independence and some of her people can't live in their own homes due to fear from terror reigning in those areas, insurgency is not new and this people have been forced to abandon their homes, farms and no way to tend for themselves.
