AHAHA! WOW! So well though out! What stroke of luck to find someone sleeping in a coffee shop, of all places haha! I used to keep an album of photos I take of sleeping people, but not once did I ever stumble upon someone snoozing in a coffee shop!
But you know, I can kinda relate to him. I have this weird biology that I get sleepy sometimes when I drink coffee. The explanation of it was that my brain gets jacked up on caffeine, that it becomes too overworked, making me feel drowsy. At least, that's how I choose to believe it haha! It's based off a scientific journal I read somewhere. I haven't tried again though, I've been off coffee for a number of months now.
Haha! You have an album of sleeping people?! .... That's a great idea for a photography project!!
Yeah, I think you're right you know. If you're already running on very little energy, sometimes coffee can just seem to zap whatever energy you've got left. Coffee fuelled naps are always full of crazy dreams though (at least for me!).
I never used to drink a lot of coffee. But then I had three kids.... :)
That's what I intended to do before! But, it got erased with my hard drive. I wanted it to be something like, the business district is alive, and yet this people are asleep.
That's what I always tell people, but most of the time they don't believe me. Those fools. Coffee fueled naps are always full of vivid, movie-like dreams, so you're not alone in that!
Let's see if I slip back into that vice once I have kids of my own haha!
Haha those fools indeed!
I may well try to reduce my coffee intake again at some point, but having just bought a new coffee machine and a milk frother.... it ain't happening anytime soon!!
A new coffee machine and a milk frother? Hahaha! I, uh, I don't know what to tell you, my friend. I don't think coffee is leaving your system any time soon hahaha!
hahaha!! I think you may be right..!!
Haha! What did I tell you earlier in this conversation!? Haha!
Your 'rightness' seems to keep on growing hee hee!!
Well now, this time I think you are right! Haha!
Apologies for butting in on your conversation like this its just so interesting.
No apologies necessary! :D
It feels good to have convo going on like this.
Cool do you think its possible to create the perfect dream?
Personally, I think "perfect" is subjective, so what's perfect for one person isn't necessarily perfect for another. With that in mind, I do think we can create perfect dreams.
Good point. Yeah like maybe you can set up a dream for a specific purpose, like to be more productive or to fight diabetes.
I have tried doing that--dictating what the dreams portray. It's a very interesting field, one that studies have yet to scratch the surface.
You mean writing it down afterwards? 😀😎That's not what I meant but is interesting anyway. Have you seen that Dicaprio movie?
No, no. I meant thinking about it heavily beforehand so that I could visualize it before it happens. Yeah haha Inception.
What if perfect was not subjective?
Then it shouldn't ever be questioned.
HAHA you're funny man 😀😎Sometimes I'm too philosophical for anyone's good. Let alone my own?
Haha I try :D
ooh, you know I reckon it is.... but I don't know how you'd do it!
I mean like if you drink the right amount of coffee, eat pizza, get your timing right, listen to the right music and/or white noise, get some specific fragrances going... watch the right movie. something like that.
This sounds like an experiment you should try and then blog about it!!
Sure why not? 😃
I started drinking coffee at my first permanent job.
I think you are right @jedau. It speeds up your brain and then you get tired from all the thinking. Makes total sense to me. Why did you stop drinking coffee?
There was a time when I became very dependent on it. I was averaging a few cups per day, and it was really taking a toll on my palpitations and acidity. So, to remedy it, I just stopped. It wasn't easy, but it's completely doable :D
Did you stop cold turkey?
Yessir! It wasn't easy, but it's worth it, I think.
Sure why not! 😀😎
