Firstly, they were just saying it's maintenance, and their webpage also showed that statement, but it turned out to be worse.

Almost 60 000 000 $ has been stolen. No words on that.

For those, who don't know what NiceHash is was:
NiceHash is an interesting and relatively new service that allows users to sell the hashrate that their mining hardware generates or to buy such to mine a specific coin at a user set pool with one of the supported crypto algorithms.
