Last  night two of top teams in the NHL met as the Boston Bruins rolled into Toronto to take on the youthful and speedy Maple leafs.

The Leafs were without their young phenom and leader Austin Matthews but that didn't matter on this night as one of their other young guns, Mitch Marner racked up 4 points in leading his team to a 4-3 victory.

The victory saw the Leafs move one point ahead of the Bruins in the standings but Boston still has 5 games in hand! A playoff meeting between the two may still be in the cards and Toronto did receive a confidence boost taking the season series 3-1.
