Ukraine NFT War Museum Goes Live
On Friday, the Russian invasion of Ukraine entered its fifth week. Russia continued to bomb civilian targets despite punishing sanctions and isolation. Reports of Bitcoin (BTC) being used to buy Russian oil, as well as US warnings to China about supporting Russia in Ukraine, add to the global financial markets' and geopolitical landscape's concerns.
The Ukrainian government has received much-needed backing during the invasion. NATO members have lent their support, as well as bitcoin donations.
The NFT War Museum in Ukraine been opened in order to receive government funding.
FX Empire reported earlier this month on the Ukrainian government's plans to open a "NFT Museum" of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The proceeds from the sale of NFTs would be used to help the Ukrainian government satisfy its financial obligations.

Unlike traditional museums, the Ukrainian war museum is entirely made up of NFTs and is entirely digital. Buyers will not be able to see the NFT until after they have purchased it, according to the MetaHistory tweet.
The images were created using the Fair.xyz NFT platform using Ethereum (ETH) and Polygon (MATIC).
To purchase an NFT, users must first register and have a crypto wallet.

There are 54 NFTs available, with sales beginning on March 29, 2022.
In a time of need, the Ukrainian government embraces digital assets.
The Ukrainian government has relied on digital assets for support since the beginning of the Russian invasion. For a government in need of assistance for its military effort and civilian population, digital assets have shown to be an excellent option.
According to the Financial Times, the Ukrainian government has received more than $100 million in cryptocurrency donations.
Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), Solana (SOL), and Dogecoin are among the nine cryptocurrencies accepted by the Ukrainian government (DOGE).
