RE: NextColony: next version of my building overview is online

in #nextcolony5 years ago

Good startup for future best NC-client!

Some small tips from me:

  • Need to make more info for this client's newbies on the client page: just copy the info with pictures from this your post ("skill level is shown as yellow rectangle (green = actual building level; yellow = actual skill level; red = not skilled", "white square shows when there is enough coal, ore, copper and uranium to upgrade a building to the next level", "little progress bar for each building actually upgrading", maybe, write in both EN/DE or be able to select) and place it on top/right or left side of your client page...
  • Write more about needed "installed keychain browser addon" and give the list of supported browsers (as sample, I use Firefox, Opera on PC or Android). May be, if it's possible (and easy too), make embedded JS version for nextcolony API operations (work in all browsers) using steemconnect for login (like it in https://nextcolony.io/ or https://nc-client.jarunik.com/ ), isn't it? But I do not sure, maybe, the installed keychain browser addon is the best solution here...
  • also use https:// connection instead http:// because the https-only is a browser's standard now.

In new versions of NC-clients - I hope to see some smart planning/scheduling for auto-start of:
lv1) production
lv2) skills-learning
lv3) exploring
lv4) farm,
but it is not too simple...

(I hope that you understood me, because sorry, I'm not too good in EN or DE)

Good luck in your hard work of web-client's programming!

Thanks for your suggestions.

Will add these infos, when the design is final.

See it as a bonus for users that alredy have keychain addon installed. But I can add some infos for next release. Maybe I can found a tutorial that I can link to.

I will have a look at it
It would make sense too, because you can't install addons under Android so easily.

also use https:// connection instead http:// because the https-only is a browser's standard now.

its on my todo list
