Delicacy 02: Brunch at Unionville - Next Door Restaurant

Next Door Restaurant is located in 139 Main St., Unionville. It is a modern Canadian restaurant, and the atmosphere is very casual and cozy. The staffs are always very nice and easy going. The restaurant is divided into 2 areas, one for dining and the other is lounge. We were taking our brunch in the lounge due to the dining area was full house.

The today special was steak N' egg, and it is fantastic. The steak was done just right. Smoky crispy at the outside and soft & juicy at the inside.

This is the Crab on Brioche, which is a crab salad and poached eggs on brioche bread served with brown butter hollandaise. Never try this before, and again it is fantastic!! I could smell the freshness of the crab!

We ordered the coffee as well, but it didn't taste as good, and the smell was very strange. It had some kind of woody smell on it .... which very hard to describe. It just not for us. But we are still wondering is it some kind of unusual coffee bean they use?

Anyhow, if you are looking for a restaurant with a creative menu, good food quality, and friendly relax causal environment, Next Door will not disappoint you!
