Another Day, Another Year, Another Decade, Another Chance To Make A Change...

The magic hour has passed and we are into a new year and a new decade.

It will be a big year for me, I'll be entering my seventh decade on this planet.

I'll be 60 in 2020, our final daughter will be away to university, and there will changes a plenty in my daily working life.

The past two new years eves I've spent around and about Steem.

Although I've been laying low on the platform these last couple of months I thought I would pop back to record my contemplations for the year ahead.

But I have not been totally absent. I've been reading, I've been watching, I've been absorbing, I've been hoping. But I don't have answers.

And I must confess, shamefully I guess, that I don't anymore have the mental energy to try to find them.

I stepped back from Steem because it stopped being fun.

It became a chore, not a joy.

But I still enjoy writing. And I miss not writing every day.

So I would like to start writing again.

Just not about Steem. I will let others do that.

If I start writing again, it will just be for the love of writing.

About what I am not quite sure. Maybe the future.

That is so important. And so daunting.

I have some hopes. And some fears.

What comes next I have no idea.

But the future is for tomorrow.

For now all I can do is wish you well, and hope that every new day is better than the one before.

Amigo pennsif me identifico mucho con usted, cuando le conoci y conoci steemit fue una alegria para mi, escribia mucho y lo disfrutaba, pero agentes internos tanto externos me llevaron a enfocarme solo en el steem y aun para los niños, pero poco a poco perdi la motivacion por simplemente disfrutar el leerlos a ustedes y escribir en steemit. A pesar de no haber tenido hijos aun junto a mi esposa, veo los años pasar pero creo que aun hay tiempo para vivir, asi también usted y su familia, ahora es que hay tiempo para vivir, feliz 2020...

Friend pennsif I identified a lot with you, when I met you and met steemit it was a joy to me, I wrote a lot and enjoyed it, but internal agents both external led me to focus only on the steem and even for the children, but gradually I lost the motivation in case i mplemente enjoy reading them to you and writing in steemit. Even though I haven't had children even with my wife, I watch the years go by but I think there's still time to live, so do you and your family, now it's time to live, happy 2020...
