Hello my dearest friend Nina!!
I have missed you. Especially reading your lovely blogs.
You may not realize it, but your blogs are awesome!!
YES - I did read this post all the way to the end, and enjoyed reading about 2019 and your plans for 2020.
Sorry to hear about your laptop, but thank goodness you have Steemit and the record of your photos there.
I'm so happy you have the correct prescription now.
Much love and Big Bear Hugs!! 💖

Thank you so much, Papa Bear! It's always great to hear from you and thank you for reading my posts and for your support since day 1. :D

Next month are our Steemit anniversaries, time goes by so fast!

I hope you and your family are well! Much love!

Heyyyyy
It's good to finally catch up with you, I mean where've you been !!!
but you kind of made up for your long absence with this summary post (that could have been 10 or 20 different posts about the different stories you told here lol)
Anyway welcome back and don't ever dissapear again or I'll... :D

Haha, as I started writing, words just came out, I guess I had too much to say xD
But I'll break down some of the things in other posts :)

Thanks for welcoming me back in such a lovely way lol :D

Nice to hear from you and Happy New Year to you too. Sure it seems like it could be full of possibilities both good and bad but whatever happens it means last year has gone and whether you like it you are a little bit older and hopefully a little bit wiser.

Thanks for sharing and health happiness and hope for 2020.

PS. When you say your laptop died and you lost your data, I suspect that is not the case. I am an IT professional and have recovered data of dead computers many times before. Send me a message if you want some advice about how to get your data back.

Thank you and yes, I agree with you, what's in the past we can't fix or take back, but we can take a new chance every day that we have.

I took my laptop to see if it can be fixed, I was told that the system was down plus the hard disk was dead. Laptop was almost 11 years old, it could be repaired but the guy told me he cannot recover the data - photos, videos etc. I might take to someone else to take a look. :)

If it is an old disk and no longer spins then yes it is more problematic to get the data off. It then becomes a decision of cost vs care. How much do you really care about the data and are you willing to pay to get it.

Either way a valuable lesson is learned. There are two types of people in this world. Those that back up regularly and those that will back up regularly.

Sorry I can't help more. hugs

Either way a valuable lesson is learned.

Definitely!

Thank you for the information, I appreciate it. For now, I'm gonna have to leave it as it is. :)
