Welcome to Steemit

By the way, regarding your flag from @riosparada in the posting of his lottery it is better first to read the posting. In a lottery it is better just to do what is asked for and not to open any conversation there. And asking inside a lottery if it is a scam, is a bit disturbing every participant and of course the director of the lottery.

You will earn STEEM if you produce unique content (authoring), write comments (interaction) and making friends (followers). Very Important: Vote! 40 times within 24 hours is the limit. And don't forget to resteem what you like.

The number of your recent votes is shown here. Just put in your avatar's name in the upper left field and wait until the red countdown in the upper right is ready.

If you need help, please feel free to ask (not inside a lottery!). Steemians always helping each other.

Visit the Steemit Welcome Page where you will find all informations and a lot of links around Steemit.

Use this Steemit FAQ as well. It is a very helpful collection. Steemit development is in Beta stage. Some things may seem to be strange. Just ask!

For editors the Markdown Styling Guide is an important source.
Below every editor window (comments, postings), you will get the Preview.

Including Images in your post works perfectly. You can do it in several ways, as described in the image help.

Happy steemin

Thanks @aFrog!

I appreciate your little intro, however it is concerning that people can jump to the trigger.
I'll be sure to pick things up faster now to avoid future conflict.

I suppose you are right, but I just assumed people wouldn't instantly flag. That's a bit critical, no?
I asked if it was, someone could have came and corrected me prior to any flag as I have not done anything wrong by asking a simple question. Maybe I just don't get this just yet.

Study Plan
(This was supposed to be using a heading but it didn't take, can you only have one heading? used bold to denote a new section)

  • [] Perform @mentions, #refs, links, formatting, and tags supported
  • [] Check out hardware wallets for security
  • [] check out mining profitablity ratios
  • [ ] check out other users and try and build a social circle to ask questions

heading 1 (/# heading 1)

heading 2 (/## heading 2)

Don't use the slash. It's just for stopping to make headers and to show you the syntax. We have six headings. Same as in HTML and you can use the HTML-Syntax too. But only standards.

Study your Markdown Styling Guide please! It's totally easy to use!

Your little flag-affair.

It's totally funny. I started with a flag too. What a joke! Let me explain. At the moment all people in Steemit are a little bit nervous. A lot of unexpected things happened and some unfriendly people are messing around too, since weeks. This is not your fault! @riosparada felt bothered by your question because normally nobody in his games is talking to him about scams. And in the first moment I've read your question, I felt the same because on the first sight you seemed to be unfriendly. But then I went into this thing and saw, you are pretty new. So I thought, it has been just an unlucky coincidence. Riosparada is a very polite and nice guy and you should play his games too because you get spend always little STEEM from him. If you give him a sorry, he will give you a sorry too, I'm pretty sure. Steem on @benjaminadams and become a blogger of the Steem.
