THE BOMB WAS DROPPED

SLOWLY THE DUST IS SETTLING DOWN

SITUATION STABILIZING...

WE all are aware of the fact that STEEM has been Hard Forked 22nd time just 15 days ago. Though this Hard Fork was quite a smooth one in comparison to others, still people had that panicked situation and once it got implemented now people are up with their opinions and debated among themselves to prove their points right.

And all this situation has become a source of confusion for another group of people, especially the newbies who've come upon here or the people who didn't understood the HF22 pretty well.

I too thought of presenting my opinions about the same thing and I did it as well in some blogs and videos, but I realised that everyone was doing that and I noticed there were mainly two major groups in this debate, one said it was benefitting curators and other were of the opinions that authors are facing lower earnings.

So I have thought of comparing the two :)

I would try to make my explanation the simplest that I can make it for everyone. Let's try to get it with some real life examples.

• Assume STEEMIT is shopping mall, every author is a seller of their services and products and finally the curators/investors are the buyers or customers. The posts can also be considered as the products/services.

Naturally the buyers would always like to have the best quality products and in the mall they get 25% back on their purchases, but after a rule change the mall decided to give back 50% instead of 25% to the customers and 50% to the sellers. Some sellers stood against it and said why are their incomes are forcibly being reduced ! While on the other hand the customers got very happy and soon the amount of customers in the mall started to grow. Slowly the situation started to stabilize and the real effect which was intended with the move, started to become visible. Now the sellers were amazed to see their total sales booming to new limits ! The new scheme of changing the split to 50/50 attracted new customers. And as customers rolled in the sales grew very much. All in all benefit for the entire ecosystem.

I hope you guys find my view being logical, though it's based upon what I think might have been the reason for bringing in Hard Fork 22.

I believe it completely depends upon the sellers how many customers they can attract for their products ( content ) . The better they can bring into their content would drive in the more customers into their store. Customer are bound to look for their desired products but if you wanna have them inside your store, you might have to give unique inputs, noone else is giving which makes your store stand out from the rest and attract people :)
