It Feels Good to be Back Babyyy!!

A few days ago I wrote how I’ve been mentally checked out of Steemit for a really long time even though I’ve been here almost every day, and that I very much intend to get back into being active and engaged (to my only lover) Steemit.

I really missed being here, missed the friendly banter in the comments, missed creating with my whole heart in it and I missed the people here just in general. Steemians really are a superior breed of people, in my humble opinion.

I’ve done a bit of everything I like in terms of posting during the past week; a little sexy self portraits, a proper piece of writing, a photo walk and some fast shitposts. I’ve also been starting my mornings with going through the feed, commenting and curating, even found a couple new people to follow.

You really get our what you put in, but we all knew that didn’t we? I just gotta keep up the good work again and soon it’ll be a habit like it was last year. I think it takes a couple weeks of active work to make a routine into a habit that sticks.

Now that I’ve been actively going through Steemit again, I gotta say #newsteem is looking real good. I’ve been pleasantly surprised even by the trending page and I’ve been so happy to see some of my old favourite people doing really good and getting the recognisition I think they always deserved.

Creating something this new, a completely new economy and social platform is not easy or fast, but being in the crypto game for over two years already, I can see we are going to the right direction, even if the price doesn’t reflect it. I’m getting seriously excited about Steemit again.
