Technically, the two Koreas are still at war - no peace treaty has been mentioned yet. So maybe it's more than a little premature to be declaring peace has broken out, wouldn't you say?
With the two 'mavericks' involved (and I don't use that word in a complimentary sense), I don't think they should try building those North Korean hotels of Trump's dreams just yet.
I think it's best to 'wait and see' on this one.
I agree with what you said...that's why I said peace has been made possible, not that peace has been achieved! Of course there is still a long way to go, but the real power players (movers and shakers) behind the scenes are China, President Moon, and the business interests looking to invest in 25 million people starting from scratch. So yeah, the Korea situation is in good hands. Even neocon John Bolton tried to sabotage it, but it went on because the will to do it is now greater than the will to not do it.
