WhatsApp founder plans to leave Facebook
Jan Koum, WhatsApp's CEO & Co-founder has resigned from Facebook because of an internal conflict.
The announcement comes after fours years from Facebook in an emotional post saying:
Jan’s decision soon comes after Facebook controversies of Cambridge Analytical which highlighted the ineffective privacy policies.
Jan after selling WhatsApp to Facebook he made sure to remain an integral part of WhatsApp. But both have different perspective Jan believed in respecting users privacy while Facebook makes money through targeted ads by collecting users information which resulted in a disagreement and prompted Jan to leave Facebook.
