Xiaomi is aiming for 100 million buyers this year
Xiaomi managed to overturn the prediction of those who predicted their fall in 2017. In fact, the Chinese manufacturer could rise and make 2017 as the best year in its history of selling smartphones.
The year 2017 shows more than 90 million units of Xiaomi phones delivered in the past year. In 2018, Xiaomi aims to ship 100 million units.
According to reports coming from the Taiwan e-Times, four major Chinese mobile manufacturers have formulated a very aggressive development plan for 2018. Since they have won the domestic market, the manufacturers have been pushed into overseas markets.
Especially for Xiaomi, this manufacturer has been very popular in India. Redmi line models are sold in the country in millions of units. Xiaomi claims this is predictable before, because the Redmi smartphone is cheap but provides excellent performance.
So the manufacturer will do its best to enter other markets through the latest models. According to official reports, Xiaomi smartphone shipments exceed 10 million units per month in the last quarter. That's why management calculates sales of mobile phones will reach USD120 million-USD150 million in 2018.
The leaders in China's current smartphone market, Huawei, also perform well. Send 150 million units of mobile phones in 2017, this year they are targeting to boost sales volume to 200 million units.
