VENEZUELA "The Last Days"

in #news7 years ago

The scarcity of food and the presence of "hunger" has lit the wick to an eminent government fall.

Demonstrations against President Nicolás Maduro, which began 3 months ago, demanded his exit from power by general elections, and blamed him for the severe economic crisis that the country is experiencing.

The protests, which already leave 79 dead and more than ten-thousand wounded are being covered and press blocked by the socialist government.

Clashes between demonstrators and security forces, which with tear gas jets of water and pellets prevent opponents from reaching the center of the city.

The rebels haved robbed a helicopter with which they have flown and fired at the headquarters of the Ministry of Interior and the Supreme Court (TSJ) in Caracas on Wednesday.

The opposition rejects the Maduro's Constituent Assembly to reform the Magna Carta and will not participate in the election as considered "fraudulent".

Political analysts consider the Inflation could reach 720 percent in 2017 and an
Acute shortage of food and medicines that could cause a mayor coup in near weeks.

Are these the last days of Maduro?

Sort:

Another communist heaven, it will either go full dictatorship or change, I hope for the best and for it to not get even more violent (civil war)
