The Las Vegas debuted the electric Corvette
American company Genovation Cars presented at the exhibition of consumer electronics in Las Vegas, the Chevrolet Corvette, converted into an electric car. The model called GXE is positioned as the world's fastest electric car with access to public roads - the maximum speed exceeds 220 mph (354 km / h).
Richem traction is transmitted to the rear wheels through the standard transmission of the "Corvette" - seven-speed mechanics or an eight-speed automatic.
The power plant was specially assembled in such a way as to provide the driver with the same travel experience as the sports car with ICE. Five blocks of accumulators with a total capacity of 61.6 kilowatt-hours were distributed throughout the car to maintain balance.
would love nothing but to thrash that around a track for twenty minutes. let's hope more electric car places pop up to provide that kinda entertainment! :)
