Mark Zuckerberg VS. The United States of America
Facebook has been under fire lately with it's newest scandal involving the recent election and data company Cambridge Analytics.
THE STORY:
After conversations with top execs went viral across the world, Mark Zuckerberg made it clear that he is willing to stand and testify to protect the image of his company. After watching this interview it's pretty clear that Zuckerberg was definitely way more prepared than the senators and congressman at that hearing. It does make perfect sense, Zuckerberg is one of the wealthiest individuals in the world as well as the face of the largest social network in history. He made $3 billion dollars a few moments after testifying because he won back some of the trust from investors that sold their shares during the outbreak. What most people do not realize is the only way for such a service such as Facebook to be free of charge is everything has to have a price.... in this case, YOUR PRIVACY! People use google search at least once a day and nobody asks why that service is free while it connects you to almost any information you are looking for in a matter of seconds. In the end, Zuck won this battle and will continue to show us the power of his social network in the world.
OUR OPINION:
Let's be completely honest here, every time someone signs up to join Facebook the company does provide the terms of service like they should and who the fuck reads all of that? The fact that it's not written in understandable english is because they have the ability to use difficult wording to turn people off from reading the entire thing. One thing I do not agree with is the monopolization of Facebook in terms of social media companies. They receive over 75% of paid advertising funds and second place is Instagram which they own as well. I think if people were really that concerned about their privacy then they should follow the #deletefacebook movement and join amazing social network's such as Steemit! Other than that people should quit whining about their privacy when theyre living a boring ass life that nobody really cares about! They take your data to sell to companies that actually want to sell you shit, it's simple as that!
