If Argentina want to win the title, they should learn from Iceland about how to defense superior. What Iceland did is really great. Argentina didn't have much chance and Iceland grabbed the few chances they had and scored a goal.
Messi really need to improve his penalty skill. I would like to see Argentina go further, and Argentina will need Messi take penalty again if they go further.

Argentina's completely ridiculous strategy: aerial balls for Kun Aguero against an expert defense in aerial game. Poor midfielders , awful central defenders and Messi overwhelmed.

I think in the match is very interesting. Argentina is very superior. They continued to attack the Iceland defense. The ongoing Argentine strike was unable to break the very strong defense of Iceland. Probably because the Argentine team had not found their best game yet. And Messi was too arrogant.
I'm an Argenina's die-hard fan since 1978. Have had some happy moments along the way. Have waited for Messy to second Maradona for the last 10 years... Have to regretfully admit: this is not going to happen, not with Messy, and with this team. Sadly they are past their peak, which as it turns out was in 2014 - have they played Di Maria in the final, the things may have been different back then. No Di Maria is going to make any difference now, or Messy for that matter.
