Google new policy in image search, more prominence in copyright disclaimers!
As result of conversations between Google publishers and photographers, about how the search engine could better provide more authors attribution in image search.
Google will make copyright disclaimers more prominent in image search by modifying its image search to improve attribution of contributors’ work.
The changes will include removing view image links to the image URL& more information about the image origins.
In the past few years, Google has undergone many legal proceeding regarding its policy in image search, the most imminent was the one made by Getty Images and the European Commission.
This decision marks a good initiative to protect original work and outface Plagiarism. technology
